The Story of Badgershine

Badgershine was born from a lifelong passion for cars and the satisfaction of seeing them looking their absolute best.

My journey began at just 13 years old, washing neighbours' cars at weekends to earn a little pocket money.

What started as a simple weekend activity quickly became a genuine interest in vehicle care. I invested my earnings in cleaning products, experimented with different techniques and learned how to achieve better results.

My parents' cars became my testing ground, with some impressive successes and, admittedly, a few memorable failures along the way!

As my passion grew, I secured a weekend and school-holiday position at a high-performance and prestige car garage.

Working alongside experienced professionals gave me invaluable exposure to exceptional vehicles, specialist techniques and the importance of attention to detail.

Those early experiences helped shape the standards and approach that remain at the heart of Badgershine today.

Over the years, I've continued developing my knowledge through professional experience and specialist training in vehicle care and detailing.

“Ben, if you treat every car you do the same as a Ferrari, you will go far in this world.”

Badgershine officially began its journey in October 2020, during one of the most challenging periods in recent history.

What initially started as a way to build something during furlough soon developed into a much bigger ambition.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions created obstacles, the determination to establish Badgershine never disappeared.

The vision was simple: to create an independent detailing business that delivers exceptional vehicle care with a personal touch.

Throughout my journey, I've continued to develop my knowledge and skills through practical experience and specialist professional training, including courses with SONAX.

From professional machine polishing and ceramic coatings to advanced vehicle protection systems and specialist surface treatments, this ongoing development reflects Badgershine's commitment to exceptional vehicle care.

Combined with professional equipment and carefully selected products, it's all part of our dedication to achieving outstanding results.

Today, Badgershine continues to grow through a commitment to professional standards, quality products and modern detailing techniques.

From premium valeting to specialist machine polishing and ceramic protection, every service is approached with care, precision and pride.

We continually invest in professional equipment, specialist products and training, ensuring we can provide the level of service our customers and their vehicles deserve.

And it's not just about the finish. Our signature Refresh hanging air fresheners are one of the little touches that make the Badgershine experience special.

At Badgershine, we understand that every vehicle is different, and so is every customer.

We take time to listen, understand your requirements and recommend the most suitable approach before work begins.

We don't simply arrive, wash a car and leave.

We take pride in the entire experience, from the first conversation to the final inspection, with the aim of delivering results that exceed expectations.

It's this commitment that has helped us build lasting relationships with returning customers.

Our ambition has always been to make cars shine brighter than the North Star.

Because to us, it's never been just another car valet.

"Everybody loves hardworking Badgers, and Badgers can only shine with Badgershine!"

— Ben The Badger (Badger), Founder of Badgershine
